What is NanoPel?
NanoPel is a premium, PFAS-free liquid and stain repellent designed to protect fabric and leather. It creates an invisible, breathable barrier that makes liquids slide off instead of getting absorbed.
How do I apply NanoPel?
1. Make sure the surface is clean and dry.
2. Spray evenly from about 15 cm away. Apply a second round of coating after 30min.
3. Let thin fabric dry for 2 hours and thick fabric for 24 hours before use.
How long does the protection last?
NanoPel provides long-lasting protection on fabric and leather. Durability of the protection depends on the frequency of use of the item treated and environmental conditions. Scraping is the leading cause for degrading the protection's performance. However, in normal home conditions, protection on frequently used items (like sofas and jackets) can last up to 6 months. On less-used surfaces, protection can last up to 12 months.
Will NanoPel change the look or feel of my fabric?
No. NanoPel is designed to be invisible and breathable. It will not change the color, texture, or softness of your materials.
What surfaces can I use NanoPel on?
NanoPel Water Repellent works on a wide range of materials, including Fabric (furniture, clothes) and Leather (bags, jackets).
Is NanoPel safe for children and pets?
Yes! Our formula is completely PFAS-free and odor-free once dry. However, NanoPel is not intended for ingestion and should be kept out of reach of children.
What bottle size do I need to treat a sofa or jackets?
250ml bottle: Covers a complete 3 arm chairs or up to 6 jackets.
500ml bottle: Covers a complete large 2 seater sofa or a complete small 3 seater sofa. That includes the seats (front, back and under), backrest (front, back and under), arm rests and base.
1000ml bottle: Covers a complete large 4 seater sofa or a complete small 5 seater sofa. That includes the seats (front, back and under), backrest (front, back and under), arm rests and base.
4000ml gallon: Perfect for large living areas or furniture sets, large carpets or complete home furniture.
Do I need to reapply after washing?
Yes. Washing or deep cleaning will remove the protective layer. Reapply NanoPel Water Repellent after washing for continued protection.
My sofa still absorbed a bit of water when tested, although most slid off. Is that normal?
No. NanoPel makes fabrics liquid-repellent. Liquids should slide off or sit still on the treated surface to give you time to blot. A small amount can wick in if a pressure is applied, spraying was not even, or the coating hasn’t fully cured yet.
How to fix it
- Wait & retest: If you applied today, allow 24 hours, then drip a teaspoon of water and watch.
- Top-up coat (targeted): if water got absorbed, dry up the wet area and then lightly re-spray areas that absorbed water. Spray 15 cm away from the surface until fibers look evenly damp (not dripping).
- Don’t forget the edges: Treat corners of removable cushions.
Care going forward: Blot spills (don’t rub), and reapply every 6–12 months or after deep cleaning.
What makes NanoPel different from other repellents?
Most repellents use harmful PFAS chemicals. NanoPel is PFAS-free, family-safe, and odorless — without compromising on performance.
